Our Web Design Process
Step 1:
We will work with you to develop detailed specifications and a cost estimate for your new web site.
We will ask you to supply us with as much information as possible about
your company and products, including any printed marketing materials, brochures, spec
sheets, etc. We want to know as much as possible about your business so we can design a
web site that accurately represents you. After you approve the specifications for the web
site, we will ask for a 50% deposit.
Step 2:
We take all the information supplied in step one and create an preliminary outline of
your web site. This will show you the approach we are proposing, and it gives us the
opportunity to work through ideas that would be more difficult to modify later in the
process.
Step 3:
Once the outline is approved we prepare a prototype layout. The prototype layout shows
you proposed illustrations, typefaces, screen colors, and other important design elements.
Any modifications at this point will be minor adjustments.
Step 4:
This is where we take all the information gathered in the three previous steps and
assemble them into the actual HTML pages that will make up your web site.
Step 5:
After everything is finalized we will put the documents online. People will then be able
to access your site. We will then register your site with the major Internet directories
and search sites. Payment of the balance of the web design costs will be due
upon completion of the site.
